BTA/BOLT Tuesday Morning Hike Schedule

Meet at trailhead at 9:15 AM. Call a friend to carpool. Hikes last 1.5 to 2 hours. If snow is on the ground, bring cross-country skis or snowshoes. Heavy rain or snow cancels. Bring water or snacks if desired and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Call BTA/BOLT office at 978-887-7031 for questions. Call Steve if uncertain about directions.

2. Sharpners Pond parking lot at dead end of Sharpners Pond Rd. in N. Andover.

9. Village Estates trail. Turn off Main St. in east Boxford onto Hickory Rd., look for trail marker.

16. Sharpners Pond parking lot (part 2).

23. Wunnegan. Parking lot on Crooked Pond Dr., which is off Moonpenny Dr., off Middleton Rd.

30. Skug River. Take route 125 to Salem St. in Andover. Go south to parking lot on right (Bay Circuit T.)

Oct.

7. Wheeler Conserv. Area. Take Lilly Pond Rd., across from Far Corner Golf Course). Go across Haverhill line (it becomes Barker St.) to sign and parking lot on left.

14. Heron Rookery trail. Meet at dead end of Hovey's Pond Rd., which is off Lake Shore Rd., west Boxford.

21. Mazurenko Conserv. Area. Route 133 to Bradford St.(across from Brooks School), Right on Bradford and look for first parking lot on left.

28. Lufkin Brook Trail. Route 133 to Pine Plain Rd.(just before Georgetown line). Left (west) on Pine Plain, cross Boxford/Georgetown line, Go about 50 yards more and find trail head on right.

4. Wildcat. Herrick Rd. parking lot.

11. Harold Parker State Forest. Route 125 into Andover, left on Salem St., proceed to and park at park headquarters.

18. Boxford state Forest. Park at first access point (wire enclosed with yellow canvas) as you come from Main St.

25. Goldsmith Reservation.,in Andover. Park in lot on southbound side of route 28, just north of
route 125 intersection.
