Our membership includes an active group of horse people and friends who live in and around the Boxford, Massachusetts area. BTA/BOLT members are involved in virtually every aspect of the horse world: Riding, Driving, Dressage, Eventing, Pleasure, Trail, Equitation, Western/English, Saddle seat, Hunter/Jumper, Breeding, Racing, Endurance, Drag fox-hunting. You name it, someone in this area probably does it!

One of our goals is to help maintain and enlarge the trails system in Boxford. We also help organize the annual BTA/BOLT Dressage and Horse Show each July, as well as the ABC Benefit Horse Trials each fall. We aim to educate riders on the proper use of trails, and strive to build positive relationships with landowners, both public and private. Most of all, we are a relaxed and fun group who are interested in a variety of horse-related activities such as trail rides, speakers, demonstrations, and other social activities.
